Top 5 Disney Frozen Characters + Party Ideas!
With the release of Disney Frozen 2 just around the corner, we all can’t wait to see what happens next in the story.
To get us all in the Frozen spirit, we’ve compiled a list of our top 5 characters from Disney Frozen (the original movie) and included some top tips for how to incorporate each Disney Frozen Character at your party through décor, entertainment, and food!
Without further ado, in true Frozen style, its time to ‘Let it Go…’
5) Hans - Frozen party ideas and tips
While Hans may not be the most likeable character, there’s no denying that he is a great villain. He’s interesting and complex, and Frozen definitely wouldn’t be the same without him - and without him we wouldn’t have ‘Love Is An Open Door’ to sing along to! Still, regardless of all that, we sure were happy to see him defeated in the end!
Hans Party Ideas
What better way to bring Hans to your Disney Frozen themed party than “finishing each others sandwiches”, Just like Hans and Anna? A great Hans Frozen party idea is to serve shaped sandwiches at your party, made using a mixture of heart cookie cutter for reference to ‘love is an open door’- or a princess cookie cutter ones if you want a more princess focus! A great Hans inspired Frozen party tip is to get your party guests in the spirit by singing along as you pass the sandwiches out on a colourful serving platter. And of course you will need plates, napkins and cups for your party to go swimmingly.
4) Kristoff party ideas and tips
He may be a bit of a fixer-upper, but Kristoff is also one of the sweetest characters in Disney Frozen and he has to be at your party. We were all so glad to see him and Anna together, with her finally meeting the one! And of course, we cannot mention Kristoff without bringing up Sven, his loveable, loyal reindeer friend.
Kristoff Frozen Party Ideas
Since Kristoff is an ice harvester in the film, it is easy to incorporate his character into your party! Our favourite Disney Frozen party idea for Kristoff is to use blue jelly crystals to make yummy ‘kristoff’s ice blocks’. And to go with the ice theme another great Frozen party tip is to use some snowflake window decorations, this snowflake bunting will bring a touch of ice to your party together with these snowflake hanging decorations and for your table to remind you of Elsa’s Ice castle: gem confetti! And to make sure Sven is here too, one of the greatest party ideas is to decorate your cakes or sandwiches with little reindeer cake toppers? They’ll fit in perfectly with the sparkle of the snowy décor and are a top Frozen party tip!
3) Anna - Frozen party ideas and tips
Anna is, of course, the younger sister of Elsa, and also the much more childish of the two. Anna is super cute and determined, wanting nothing more than to help her sister. She offers an amazing counter to Elsa’s calmer, more mature character, as she’s a ball of excitement, finding joy in absolutely everything.
Anna Party Ideas
Now for some great Anna party ideas for your party, why not make cooking part of the fun? We all know Anna loves chocolate, so a great Frozen party tip is to make some chocolate cookies, cutting them into Anna’s tiara with this princess cookie cutter. They’ll surely feel like a princess with this crown! And for entertainment, a great party idea is to make a quiz out of song lyrics? Whoever gets the most correct answers can win a Frozen award ribbon or perhaps a surprise Frozen Inflated Balloon in a Box – another great Frozen party idea is to use it as a birthday badge or gift. Add a magical touch at your party as a treat with this Frozen Filled Bubble Balloon with personalisation! It features the faces of Anna and Elsa, so will surely have guests in awe and can be personalised for your little Princess to enjoy for days afterwards.
2) Olaf party ideas and tips
Without a doubt, Olaf is the funniest character in the whole film and it is a great idea to include him in your party. While everyone else has a level of seriousness, he’s mainly just full of love and wonder, wanting to explore and have warm hugs. Also, he has one of the best songs in the whole film, and we’re so glad he gets to experience summer thanks to his little cloud.
Olaf Party Ideas
Olaf is also a staple at Disney Frozen parties and so Frozen party ideas that include him are never far away, as he’s one of the children’s’ favourite characters he is a must at your Frozen party. He can easily be incorporated into both food and décor- a great Frozen party tip is to create marshmallow Olaf’s, or : floating olafs when you make Kristoff’s ice cubes. A simple Frozen party idea that we love for Olaf is to simply serve ‘Olaf noses’ (carrots) and dip, they are healthy too! For décor add a little orange nose to this garland to make a string of Olaf’s. Or decorate using this great Olaf hanging decoration. If you print off a nose this can double up as entertainment by playing ‘pin the nose on Olaf’!
1) Elsa Frozen party ideas and tips
Our favourite character from Frozen has to be Elsa and it is clear, your Frozen party ideas must include Elsa. She’s such an interesting character to see, we find her powers really cool - literally! The scene where she evolves into a carefree version of herself, building her very own ice castle, is also our absolute favourite scene in the whole film. We love watching her and Anna interact, and want to see her become closer with her - it really does show the importance of family! And lets not forget, she is one of the first Disney Queens!
Elsa Party Ideas
It’s very easy to think up Frozen party ideas that add Elsa the ice queen into your party. One Elsa party tip that we love is to hand out princess party crowns for all of the princesses in attendance, or have these Frozen party masks or even a giant lifesize elsa balloon herself! You could also use a Frozen cake topper to add a bit of icy magic. For our final Frozen party idea, why not give out party bags to your guests? It’s a sure-fire way to make everyone happy. These Frozen latex balloons are a great party bag filler, which you could pair with frozen party bag stationary too! Or if you want more of a show, a Frozen pinata filled with treats or castle pinata would be a great way to make sure everyone leaves with happy memories.
