Phlebodium aureum is a favourite of ours, its beautiful leaves have a blue/green tinge, thrives in low-medium indirect light and is undemanding to keep. It makes for a simple plant to grow and super rewarding!

This houseplant is perfect in a shady spot in any room, perfect for the office, a study or living room. Its fronds are an interesting shape and regular trimming and watering will ensure it grows new fronds regularly.

Ferns are a a great choice as a houseplant - they have existed since well before the dinosaurs and they love spaces that do not get any direct sunlight making them perfect for bathrooms, hallways and the kitchen.

One of the keys to success with the Blue Star fern is to make sure it is kept moist - never let it dry out. Some stones on the top of the soil are a great way to seal in moisture, as is misting.
