40th and 50th Birthday Celebration, Coalville
The Brief
Decorate and dress the Coalville Labour Club and Institute for a joint 40th and 50th Birthday celebration for a local couple.
Work Undertaken
After an initial telephone consultation, our customer took advantage of our Free 30 Minute Party Planning Consultation to discuss the requirements for their special occasion.
During the consultation our team discussed colours, styles and the items that the customer needed for the event. This quickly lead to the customers vision being established particularly around 40th Birthday helium balloons and 50th birthday helium balloons that would complement one another.
At this point it was clear that of primary importance were the colour scheme and ensuring that the theme chosen would tie in for the couple. For her pinks and purples, and for him golds and silvers were the preferred colour palette.
With these requirements being established our team had a design in mind that would achieve this and even tie in the same font and print in both colour requirements, which was perfect for the customer.
The next stage was to establish what decor was required and where it was to be positioned. It was clear that a set of statement Balloons were very important, these were to be positioned either side of a stage next to the evenings entertainment. Big, bold and on theme were the order of the day, with our team recommending a few options that resulted in the customer choosing these 7 Balloon Bouquets.
The customer also required Balloon table centrepieces for 16 Tables. As the venue is one that has a high ceiling and is relatively large, two gorgeous 5 Balloon centrepieces were suggested, one in the pink and purple colour theme, the other in the gold and silver theme. It was agreed that these would be supplied in equal number dressing the 16 tables into 8 of each design, but also to complement the balloons already chosen. Tablecovers in the same colour scheme and design were also selected to be used on the tables at the venue pulling all of the decorations together.
Cupcakes were on the menu for the occasion and so on theme Cupcake Stands were also used to complete the look in Black and Gold.
The supplies were beautifully handmade by our team, delivered to the venue and set up for the customer at the party venue leaving them to focus on celebrating. Our team thoroughly enjoyed working with our customer to achieve the right look for them.
