Tips for sending balloons in Glasgow

  • Sending to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital or Glasgow Royal Infirmary? Check the hospital's delivery rules first. Parcels usually go to the main reception rather than a ward, and some wards don't allow latex balloons, so a foil or bubble balloon is the safer choice.
  • For tenement flats, include the flat position as well as the number (for example 2/1) and the close entry details so the courier finds the right door.
  • Graduating from the University of Glasgow, Strathclyde or Glasgow Caledonian? Send balloons to a home address rather than the campus, and choose the day before the ceremony.
  • Choose your date on the product page; we recommend the day before you need the balloons.

Balloon delivery in Glasgow: your questions

Do you deliver balloons across Glasgow and the surrounding towns?
Yes. We deliver to every G postcode and to nearby towns such as Paisley, Clydebank, East Kilbride and Hamilton, by tracked courier.
How quickly can balloons reach Glasgow?
Order by 1pm Monday to Friday for delivery the next working day. Saturday delivery is available at checkout. We don't deliver on Sundays.
Do you deliver balloons to Glasgow tenement flats?
Yes. Add the flat position (for example 2/1) and any entry details to the address so the courier can reach the right door.
Will the balloons arrive inflated?
Yes. Every balloon is filled with helium and packed in a box with ribbon and a weight attached, ready to float out when the box is opened.
How long will the balloons float?
Foil balloons usually float for 3 to 5 days indoors, often up to a week; large foil and number balloons last 5 to 7 days or more, and bubble balloons up to 2 weeks. Our float-time guide has the detail for each type.
Can I add a personal message?
Yes. Add a gift message to any order at checkout, and many of our balloons can carry a printed name or message, from £5.
